 Highflyer Centerline Red Wine, Napa Valley 2007
Only 120 barrels of this cuvee (Syrah, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Tempranillo and Grenache) were produced for this vintage. Most of the grapes awere sourced from small family-owned farms in the Somerstom Vineyards of Napa. The Centerline displays sultry aromatics, layered fruit flavors and an uncanny balance. The color is
deep, and inviting. The nose explodes with blackberry
and blueberry jam, acacia flowers, cocoa, strawberries
and espresso. The palate is lush and harmonious.
2007 was a wine-growers delight, resulting in lush fruit and beautifully balanced wines throughout California.
